To help nonprofits building their internal capacity to conduct evaluations, Impact Strategies provides training in the following areas:
- Program Logic Models – A process for identifying the linkages between program activities and desired outcomes, which in turn serves as the basis for program improvement and evaluation
- Evaluation Frameworks – An organizing method for converting the key elements of the program logic into specific outcomes and performance indicators
- Data Collection Plans – Identifies the types and sources of data necessary to track the activities, processes, and outcomes of the program or service.
Whether taught as separate components or as a comprehensive evaluation training program, ISI works to instill an “evaluative thinking” approach that can inform grant writing, program development, and performance measurement.
