The CEO has resigned and the board believes it needs time to sort things out before bringing in a permanent replacement.  How can the board utilize the gift of time to position the organization for the next phase of its development?

Impact Strategies offers the Strategic Interim Review to help nonprofits take advantage of the opportunity presented through a CEO vacancy.  Specifically, Impact Strategies can:

• Conduct a thorough review of the organization's programs and services to assess their alignment and effectiveness.
   
• Develop a set of strategic organizational and program priorities (or, assess progress on an existing strategic plan) to focus the work of the organization moving forward.
   
• Work with the board to clarify its roles and responsibilities and to align its structures with the needs of the organization.
   
• Develop a profile for the permanent CEO based on the strategic priorities of the organization.

Though specific terms of the engagement will be negotiated based on the needs of your organization, the following general conditions apply:

• The Review will occur in four-week blocks and can range from 10 to 25 hours per week.  An appropriate hourly rate will be negotiated.

• Impact Strategies will not engage in fundraising activities.
   
• Impact Strategies will not engage in direct program or service delivery.
